Monday dinner at Spyce truly was a night to savour. The moment we stepped in, we were transported to the vibrant world of Cape Malay cuisine. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with ease. The food was a masterclass in traditional flavours with a modern twist. Each dish was expertly crafted, with spices and aromas that danced on our taste buds. From the tender denning meat to the fragrant chicken biryani, every bite was a delight. But what truly set this dinner apart was the African drumming experience that accompanied our meal. The rhythmic beats seemed to pulse through our very being, adding an infectious energy to the evening. It was impossible not to tap our feet along with the drums. The combination of delicious food and captivating entertainment made for a truly unforgettable night out with colleagues. Spyce is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the rich culinary heritage of Cape Malay culture in a lively and engaging atmosphere.

A Truly Unforgettable Cape Malay Experience at SPYCED. Essie and I had the most incredible evening at SPYCED, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a vibrant cultural experience that truly captured the heart and soul of Cape Malay heritage. The evening kicked off with an electrifying Djembe drumming session—a powerful and energizing performance that immediately set the tone for what would become a night to remember. The rhythm and energy were contagious, drawing everyone into the spirit of the evening. Then came the African Cape Malay cuisine, and all I can say is—wow. Each dish was bursting with flavor, rich in tradition, and beautifully presented. It was clear that a lot of care and passion goes into every bite. Truly, the food was out of this world. The staff at SPYCED deserve special mention. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and professional throughout the night. Their outstanding service made the experience even more enjoyable and memorable. A huge thanks to the live jazz band that brought the house down—before long, everyone was on their feet dancing and soaking up the festive atmosphere. It was the perfect ending to a magical evening. I’ll definitely be sending guests through to SPYCED for the full Cape Malay experience. It's more than just dinner—it's a cultural celebration. Many Thanks from P&E.
