Palm Terrace at Palm House is an idyllic summer spot for catching up with friends, and family, or simply treating yourself to an afternoon tea under the canopy of palm trees. When Cape Town’s weather turns a bit cooler, the conservatory-style restaurant offers a cosy, warm alternative.

The menu, curated by Executive Chef Gregory Henderson, focuses on locally-sourced ingredients and is inspired by the timeless traditions of afternoon teas in England. The three-tiered étagère features a selection of mouthwatering bites, from freshly baked scones with clotted cream and preserves to an array of delicate pastries, and dainty finger sandwiches.
Priced at R395 per person, the experience includes your choice of specialty coffee, tea, fresh juice, or a glass of Cape Winelands’ sparkling wine.
