Hi Graeme, Frank’s will be open for the whole of the EAT SLEEP DRINK period (20 July – 11 August). They are closing for a short winter break, but that’s only from the 11th of August. So, you’ll be able to make your booking.

What’s the full menu / is wine in any form included / is waiter service charge included ? Surely one’s not expected to Pay R600.00 (plus tip ?? plus wine ??) for a burger per couple ???

Either there is an intent to decieve or I am unable to unlock the full ovvering.

    Please advise by return

Hi Keith, happy to clarify! The offer is a R300 discount per person on dinner, which is taken off your total bill on the night. You’re free to order anything from the menu, including food and wine, and the R300 per person is simply deducted from that total. It’s not a set menu or fixed price per meal – just a discount applied to your overall spend. The waiter service charge can simply be paid to your server, as normal, on the evening. Hope that clears things up, but shout if you have any other questions.

I booked eat sleep drink but the confirmation does not show that this offer is included? Must one check with the restaurant?

Hi , I have made a booking for the above and just kindly want to confirm if you will be able to see if the voucher has successfully been allocated or if it will just automatically be applied at the venue ?

Hi Nans, the R300 per person discount will be deducted from your bill at the restaurant when you go for dinner. If, for any reason, the discount is not applied when you receive your bill, please speak to the manager on duty and they’ll be able to assist in making sure it is deducted before payment.

We’ve booked the special but asked to pay a hefty deposit. Once the R300 per person has come off and the R400 deposit per person we would be needing a refund – we wouldn’t be spending 700 pp ??

Hi Dominique, if, after the R300 per person special discount is applied, your deposit ends up being more than the final bill amount, the restaurant can process a refund for the difference directly through Dineplan. The manager on duty will be able to assist with this on the day – it’s actually a fairly common occurrence with prepaid deposits and specials, so they’ll know exactly how to handle it.
